Afghan Hound Rescue
The Afghan has Clubs across the UK, all with Rescue officers. This isn’t the easiest breed being a sighthound, not naturally obedient and very fast when they take off. The coat is a challenge, too. If you are having problems with your hound first contact your breeder and then the Rescue most appropriate to your location.
The Afghan Hound Club of Scotland Rescue is affiliated to the Afghan Hound Club of Scotland and the Rescue Officer (Mrs Knowles) is approved by the Kennel Club. It was founded in 1969 to promote knowledge of the breed in Scotland.
